Website End User License Agreement

1. Scope, acceptance, and website license

This Website End User License Agreement (EULA) governs your use of the PALEOS.IO website, including public pages and authorized account features. It is an agreement between you and PALEOS.IO, the operator of PALEOS.IO. The website is not a third-party file-hosting or executable-upload service and does not accept third-party APK, AAB, installer, executable, archive, or source-code uploads.

Before entering authenticated features, you must accept this EULA through the unchecked acceptance control and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create or use an account or enter authenticated features. If you act for an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept this EULA for it. The Terms and Privacy Policy also apply. This EULA governs the website license and website-specific download risks; the Terms govern the broader Service relationship.

Subject to this EULA and the Terms, PALEOS.IO grants a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the website and authorized account features for their intended purpose. The website is licensed, not sold. No ownership interest in the website, software, server operations, content, branding, or databases transfers to you.

2. App releases, external destinations, and Experimental PowerShells

The App Portal may describe PALEOS.IO applications and provide release links or gated delivery subject to the daily member APK-authorization limit and other disclosed access conditions. Access to a link or delivery flow does not itself grant a software license. Each PALEOS.IO application is governed by its separate license and installation consent. Review those terms before installation. APK sideloading can expose a device and data to malicious or altered packages, incompatibility, missed updates, instability, data loss, or reduced manufacturer, carrier, or other support.

The website may link to repositories, app stores, developer sites, documentation, and other external destinations. A link, listing, editorial discussion, release note, rating, badge, or placement does not mean PALEOS.IO controls, audits, certifies, endorses, warrants, or accepts responsibility for the destination, its content, or its software. You are responsible for evaluating publisher, source, permissions, signatures, terms, licenses, privacy practices, compatibility, updates, and security information before downloading, installing, executing, purchasing, licensing, or relying on external material.

PowerShell resources, technical instructions, guides, and Field Notes can contain errors, omissions, security risks, or compatibility problems. Some may alter Windows, Android, ADB, packages, security, privacy, network, or device settings and may require elevated privileges, Developer Options, USB debugging, ADB, Shizuku, or compatible hardware and software. Before use, review all instructions and warnings, confirm authority over the device, inspect the commands, prepare and test an appropriate backup and recovery plan, assess compatibility, apply least privilege, and stop if uncertain. Use is at your informed risk to the maximum extent permitted by law. This does not waive non-waivable rights or replace safe instructions, script-specific warnings, or known-issue notices.

3. Intellectual property, restrictions, changes, and termination

PALEOS.IO and its licensors retain rights in the website's original content, design, text, graphics, software, databases, documentation, names, logos, and branding, except where a separate license applies. Open-source materials remain governed by their stated licenses. Unless a PowerShell resource states a different license, Script Library PowerShell scripts are offered under the MIT License, which controls for those scripts.

You may not bypass authentication, authorization, rate limits, membership limits, gated-delivery controls, or other technical protections; access accounts, systems, data, or functions without authorization; misuse credentials; scrape or bulk-extract protected content or private information; introduce malware; disrupt or overload the website; upload prohibited executables or source; remove ownership notices; falsely imply affiliation; or reverse engineer non-open-source website components except where applicable law or a controlling open-source license permits and cannot be excluded by contract.

PALEOS.IO may update, change, limit, suspend, retire, or discontinue website features, content, release links, gated delivery, or account access for operational, security, legal, or product reasons. It does not promise that a feature, resource, release, link, or item of content will remain available, current, compatible, or uninterrupted. PALEOS.IO may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address a breach, misuse, security concern, legal obligation, or risk to the website or others. Where practical, PALEOS.IO may provide notice, but may act immediately where delay creates risk. On termination, the website license ends; accrued rights and obligations survive as appropriate.

4. Disclaimers, liability, indemnity, governing law, and contact

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website, content, release links, gated delivery, PowerShell resources, and references are provided "as is" and "as available." PALEOS.IO disclaims express, implied, and statutory warranties to the lawful extent, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, compatibility, privacy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. PALEOS.IO does not certify or guarantee that a website feature, release, linked destination, script, or software is safe, secure, private, lawful, complete, current, compatible, or fit for your purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PALEOS.IO and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, use, security, business opportunity, or device functionality, arising from this EULA, the website, a release link, gated delivery, an external destination, a PowerShell resource, script execution, or system or device modification. Their total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid PALEOS.IO for the Service in the 12 months before the event or US $100. Nothing excludes, restricts, or waives a right, remedy, warranty, or liability that applicable law does not allow PALEOS.IO to exclude, restrict, waive, or limit.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PALEOS.IO and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers from third-party claims and reasonable costs arising from your breach of this EULA or the Terms, unlawful or unauthorized use, or content that infringes another person's rights, but only to the extent caused by your conduct and not PALEOS.IO's own conduct. This does not impose an obligation prohibited by law.

Maine law governs this EULA without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable law requires a different rule or preserves non-waivable consumer protections. This EULA contains no arbitration requirement or class-action waiver. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum lawful extent and the remainder remains effective. Intellectual-property, disclaimer, liability, indemnity, governing-law, severability, and survival provisions continue after termination as appropriate. Questions: paleos.privacy@pm.me.
